Man City linked with Parma´s Giovinco

Manchester City have expressed an interest in signing Sebastian Giovinco, according to one of the Parma player’s representatives.
Italy international Giovinco is widely expected to leave the Stadio Ennio Tardini in the close season, after an impressive Serie A campaign in which he scored a career-best 15 goals.
Giovinco has been heavily linked with a return to Juventus, while Barcelona, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be keen on the forward.
Agent Claudio Pasqualin has now claimed English Premier League champions City are also interested.
“Juve and Parma will have to resolve his co-ownership arrangement, but it’s no secret that Barcelona have sent scouts to watch him play,” Pasqualin told Sky Sport Italia.
“Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid? It’s one thing to be interested in a player, it’s another to start talks.
“Nevertheless, they are not the only two sides to have requested information, Manchester City have as well.”
Giovinco has already spoken of his willingness to return to Juve, but Pasqualin claims neither he nor his fellow agent Andrea D’Amico have held talks with the Serie A champions.
“I still haven’t spoken to (Juventus coach Antonio) Conte and neither has D’Amico,” Pasqualin said.
“Once we have then we’ll be able to give you an answer on that possibility.”
Giovinco is sidelined with a minor knee injury but is expected to be included in Italy’s final squad for Euro 2012.
